Directions Montréal is a program produced at AIDS Community Care Montreal (ACCM), by gay men and for gay men.

It is intended to take a broad approach to gay men's health, looking beyond the realm of HIV and sexually transmitted infections to explore our sexualities, relationships, support networks, interests...in short, our lives as gay men. HIV remains very important to gay men, but we realize that it is not the only health issue, and not the only issue that we have to deal with.

It's very Montréal and it speaks your language.

Why the name Directions Montréal ?

Directions Montréal responds to our goal of moving beyond HIV to explore other aspects of gay men's lives. There are many directions that any individual can take at the decision points of his life. Our role is not to impose a choice, but to shine a light on all the directions so that individuals can take the directions that work best for them.

It also suggests the diversity of our own community — there are a multitude of ways to be a gay man and we want to explore them all.
